Who we are
cuspd (the website at cuspd.com and the cuspd iPhone app) is operated by Saed S. Sayegh, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In these terms, “cuspd”, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person using cuspd. By creating an account or using cuspd you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
What cuspd is, and is not
cuspd helps associate dentists keep their own record of the work they do and compare it with what they are paid. The pay checks, collection estimates, benchmarks, goals and clinical development figures are calculations from what you enter and from published or modelled references. They can be wrong, and they are not financial, tax, legal or accounting advice. Before you act on a number, for example raising a pay question with your office, check it against your contract and the office’s own reports. cuspd is not a practice management system and is not part of your office’s records.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate information when you sign up.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at team@cuspd.com if you think someone else has used it.
No patient information
cuspd is built so you never need to enter patient names or other information that identifies a patient: visits are numbered, not named. Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, chart numbers or health details in free-text fields. If you upload a report from your office, names in it are only used on your device to group visits and are never saved, but please only upload reports you are allowed to use.
Price
- cuspd is currently free for associates. No card is needed and there is nothing to cancel.
- Some CE courses and services shown in the app are sponsored. They are always marked as sponsored, and sponsors never see your record.
- If we ever introduce paid plans or optional extras, we will tell you in advance, they will be clearly marked, and you will only be charged if you choose to subscribe.
Your data
What you enter is yours. You give us permission to store it and process it only to run cuspd for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it at any time from Settings, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the app or at cuspd.com/account/delete.
Sponsors and partners
Some continuing-education courses and services shown in cuspd are sponsored, and they always say so. Some companies are listed as partners on our partners page. We do not share your record with sponsors or partners. A sponsored course or service being shown is not a recommendation from us; check the provider, and any CE approval, yourself.
Using cuspd fairly
Please do not:
- use cuspd for anything unlawful, or to store information you have no right to;
- try to get into anyone else’s account or data, or test, probe or attack the service;
- sign up with someone else’s email address, or use bots or scripts to create accounts, send requests or scrape the site;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer cuspd.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Availability and changes
We work to keep cuspd running and your data safe and backed up, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever stop offering cuspd, we will give you notice and time to export your data.
The iPhone app
If you use the cuspd app from the App Store, Apple’s standard terms for apps also apply. Apple is not responsible for cuspd or for supporting it.
Limits on our responsibility
cuspd is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost income, or decisions you make based on what cuspd shows, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using cuspd and delete your account at any time. We may end these terms or close an account if they are broken, with notice where reasonable.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Florida, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
